-: Organization of Youth Red Cross :-
Youth Red Cross is a branch of the Indian Red Cross which deals with the regular students, girl students and faculty of colleges recognized by the universities in the age group of 18 years to 35 years. In order to establish a unit of Youth Red Cross in every college, active cooperation of every student and faculty is necessary.
The purpose of the organization of Youth Red Cross is to serve humanity in war and peace time. Every youth should get training by becoming a member of this international organization, only then they can serve the citizens of rural and urban areas well.
It is the duty of the members of Youth Red Cross to do work like public health, cleaning of slums, patient welfare, service to the disabled and helpless, environmental protection and promotion and pollution prevention, immediate assistance to emergency situations created due to natural calamities and accidents etc. At the same time, while discharging the human itarian responsibilities of international organizations to protect human values, increasing the spirit of world motherhood is also an important task of the Youth Red Cross.
